Sustainable investments (Nachhaltigkeitsanlagen) are investments, which take into account social, ecological and ethical aspects.

Growing demand for power makes sustainable investments – particularly, investments in alternative and/or renewable power sources – a highly relevant and promising sphere.

Alternative and renewable (regenerative) power sources are, for example, wind power engineering (Windernerie) and solar power (Solarstrom).

Sustainable investment spheres are becoming more and more popular with investors, arousing their acute interest. As natural power resources on Earth are limited, people need alternative power production methods.

Such power sources as the sun, wind, tides, Earth heat possess virtually unlimited energetic potential.

This investment category may also include investment in companies extracting Bioethanol, for example, out of wood or sugar cane.

Investments in such projects are worth being recommended from ethical point of view, but their economic viability should also be considered.
